In an exclusive interview with India Today, Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders defended Nupur Sharma and said that she spoke the truth.
Geert Wilders said, ” I support Nupur Sharma because I believe that nobody should be punished or apologize fro speaking the truth. We might like it, we might dislike it, but she spoke the truth about Muhammad.”
Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has come in the line of fire after she commented on Prophet Muhammad during a TV news debate. The remarks stoked a massive row and multiple cases were registered against her for hurting religious sentiments.
