The SDPO, in whose name there was a ruckus regarding the Ankita murder case in Dumka city of Jharkhand, has now been removed from the investigation of this case. The BJP leaders along with the family members demanded the removal of SDPO Noor Mustafa. Former CM and BJP leader Raghuvar Das has also accused DSP Noor Mustafa of colluding with PFI. At the same time, now the inspector level police officer will investigate this matter, which will be monitored by the SP level officer. No case has been registered against Noor Mustafa.

While sharing some documents, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has said that this is a proof of SDPO Noor Mustafa being anti-tribal and communal, trying to save Shahrukh, accused in the Ankita murder case.

Let us tell you that on August 23, a person living in the neighborhood in unrequited love, sprinkled petrol on the girl student and set her on fire. She was sleeping in the house at the time of the incident. The attack took place around 4.30 am on Tuesday. The girl told in her statement that in the morning accused Shahrukh was standing in front of the window of the room. He was holding a can with a flammable liquid and a match.
The police officer said that the accused threw flammable liquid into the room and burnt the curtains. He threw even more fluid inside the room so that he could not escape. Noor Mustafa said she was badly trapped inside. She was rescued by her family and neighbors and taken to Dumka Medical College and Hospital, which assessed that she suffered 95 per cent burns.
CM Soren said – the culprits will be punished
The statement of Chief Minister Hemant Soren has come to the fore in this matter. He has said that this incident is definitely heart-wrenching and the law is taking its course. It will be our job to ensure that the accused are punished at the earliest. Soren said such incidents have no place in the society. The punishment provisions in such incidents need to be further tightened.
10 lakh rupees help to the family
He said that the heartfelt tribute to Ankita daughter. Ankita’s family members have been instructed to fast track execution of this heinous incident with an assistance of Rs 10 lakh. The Director General of Police has also been directed to give an early report on the progress of research by the ADG rank officer in the said case.
