The University of Delhi will release the list of vacant seats for the special spot admission round today, September 18. According to the schedule, the list of vacant seats will be issued today at 5 pm. Candidates can download Delhi University’s special spot admission round vacant seat list by visiting the official website at admission.uod.ac.in.
It is important to note that students who filed for Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) admission this year but were not admitted to any college, or institution on the day of the special spot admission round’s announcement can participate in the counselling procedure.
After the list of vacant seats is released, students can apply for the special spot admission round. The last date to apply for it is September 20, 2023 (up to 4:59 PM). Following this, the varsity will release the DU Special Spot Allocation Result on September 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Subsequently, students will be given an opportunity to “Accept” the allocated seat from September 21 to September 23, 2023. Candidates should keep in mind that the last date for online payment of admission fees is September 24, 2023, till 4:59 PM.
“To be considered in the SPECIAL SPOT ADMISSION ROUND, the candidate will have to opt for ‘Special Spot Admission’ through his/her dashboard,” read the official notice. Furthermore, the candidate would be free to select all programmes in as many colleges as he or she like, subject to seat availability.

Step 1: Go to the University of Delhi official website at admission.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, search for the link provided to download DU UG Special Spot Admission Round 2023 Vacant Seats.
Step 3: Click on the vacant seat list (pdf file) and download it.
In the special spot admission round, the seat allocation will be done based on the availability of seats, program-specific merit, order of preference of college, and category.
