After that a search operation was conducted in the area and a yellow colored packet was found, which was filled with heroin. The police have seized the packet and registered a case.

According to the information received, the soldiers were on patrol near BOP Lakkha Singh Wala Hithad in Ferozepur border range. During this, when a drone was seen hovering in the sky, the jawans chased it away by firing. The jawans informed the top officials of BSF about the incident.

After this, an area search operation was conducted in collaboration with the police personnel, then the personnel of 182 battalion of BSF received a yellow packet. About one and a half kg of heroin was found in this packet. A hook and indicator was also attached, which was seized.
