KHARAGPUR: To promote healthy corporate relations between railways and industries, for the first time, on the initiative of DRM Kharagpur, Corporate Cricket Championship 2023 was organized at the local Sersa Stadium. Its main objective was also to provide a platform to talented players.
The final match of the first Corporate Cricket Championship 2023 was played between DIG XI and DRM XI on Sunday 05 February 2023 at Sersa Stadium Kharagpur. In the final, DIG XI won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, DRM XI gave DIG XI a target of 148 runs to win in 20 overs.
The championship was played between 08 teams for 03 days at Sersa Stadium. Teams from DRM XI, DIG XI, Rashmi Metaliks, Tata Metaliks, Tata Hitachi, KTTP Mecheda, Ramco Mecheda and Bengal Energy participated in the cricket championship.
