Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday visited poll-bound Madhya Pradesh where he laid the foundation stones of developmental projects worth Rs 19,000 crore in Gwalior.

In a show of unity, PM Modi also held a grand roadshow with Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan in Gwalior where the duo was also joined by the BJP state unit’s president VD Sharma. The prime minister received an overwhelming welcome in Gwalior as he was seen waving and greeting the crowd.

In his speech, PM Modi made scathing remarks against the Congress and said the party made Madhya Pradesh a ‘Bimaru State’ while the BJP only worked for the development of the state. The PM also made a strong pitch about the efforts his party has been making to empower the women of the country.
