FIROZABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party has suffered another jolt in the poll season as UP minister Dharam Singh Saini resigned from the party. Saini is the third minister to do so.

Saini — who represents the Nakur constituency — was the minister of state (Independent Charge) for Ayush, food security and drug administration.
Earlier, Dr Mukesh Verma, MLA from Shikohabad Assembly constituency, had resigned from the primary membership of the party alleging ‘lack of respect’ by the government towards backward classes and Dalits.
