Dera Premi killed for insulting Sri Guru Granth Sahib: Firing while opening shop, gangster Goldie Brar took responsibility

Dera Premi Pradeep Singh, an accused in the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, was murdered in Faridkot, Punjab on Thursday. Pradeep was targeted when he was opening his dairy (shop).

5 miscreants riding 2 motorcycles fired several shots at them. Three people including the gunman were injured in this attack. Including a nearby shopkeeper. On the other hand, gangster Goldie Brar has taken the responsibility of this murder. Goldie Brar is the mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala.

First understand, what is sacrilege case
Pradeep had torn limbs in 2015 by stealing Sri Guru Granth Sahib from Gurdwara Sahib in Bargadi village. This was opposed by the Sikh community. Later a case was registered against him and he was sent to jail. Out on bail now. Pradeep was given security after receiving death threats.

The miscreants had come on a bike without a number to kill the Dera lover. Police say that the manner in which the Dera lover was murdered, it seems that the miscreants had tracked their routine. They knew that Pradeep opens the shop in the morning. In the CCTV footage, the miscreants were seen roaming there and waiting. As soon as the Dera lover opened the shop, he was shot dead.

In a social media post in the name of Goldie Brar, it was claimed that he did not get justice in the sacrilege case, so it had to be done. In this post, he expressed regret for the injury of the gunman. Questions were raised on providing security to the accused of sacrilege. However, whether this post was made by Brar or someone else, the cyber cell of Punjab Police is probing it.

Before this, Dera lover Mahinderpal Bittu, accused of sacrilege, has been murdered inside the jail as well. Dera Premi Bittu was caught in the case of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in Bargadi. Bittu was murdered in Nabha Jail on 22 June 2019.
