MLA also shot
Sonam Sen said that she did not want to come for the event in Bhojpur, she was called by the organizers with the condition that there is no obscenity. Sonam told that she had come to attend an event near Muzaffarpur in November 2021. Here again and again pressure was being made to dance obscene songs on obscene songs.
In November 2021 too, Sonam was shot for protesting obscenity.
The event was of an MLA and the MLA was doing obscene acts with local artists. The MLA had expected the same from Sonam but he had refused. Sonam says that the MLA had said that he would be tied and made to dance all night. After this, the MLA opened fire on the dancer after protesting.
She narrowly escaped in this incident. The bullet went past his hand. Since this incident, Sonam did not want to come to Bihar, but the FIR could not be lodged under the pressure of the MLA regarding the incident that happened to her by fraudulently calling her and the name of the MLA was not revealed.

Artist Sonam said that how the prohibition law is being followed in Bihar can be seen in the programmes. More alcohol is being consumed in Bihar than in other states. Alcohol is largely responsible for obscene acts in programs. People under the influence of alcohol demand obscenity and if they do not fulfill it, they are ready to take their life.
Sonam says that due to obscenity in Bihar, the honor of artists is not safe. He has appealed to all the artists of the country that no artist should come to Bihar. Eat salt roti but did not come for the program in Bihar. His honor will not be safe when he comes here. Sonam says that there are some songs which are very dirty and obscene dance is demanded on the same songs again and again.
