Deepak Chahar ‘Almost’ Runs Out Tristan Stubbs At Non-Striker’s End – WATCH

India vs South Africa 3rd T20I: Team India’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar had a chance to run out South African batter Tristan Stubbs to give the world talk about another run-out dismissal at non-strikers’ end during the third and final T20 International between India and South Africa at Indore on Tuesday. ‘Spirit of the game’ vs ‘Law of the game’ is still fresh and ongoing among cricket fans ever since the infamous Deepti Sharma-Charlotte Dean ‘mankad run-out’ incident during India vs England women’s cricket team match at the iconic Lord’s.

Deepak Chahar was brought to bowl the 16th over for India. During his spell, he was very much aware to notice that South Africa’s Tristan Stubbs was backing too much far and outside his crease at the non-strikers end. Chahar had a chance to ‘legally run-out’ Stubbs but he did not take off the stumps, and gave the batter a warning.

South African batter Rilee Rossouw, who was dismissed on the first ball in the first match of the three-match T20I series against the Indian team and got out on the second ball in the second match, stunned the Indian bowlers in the series finale. Arshdeep Singh, who dismissed Rossouw in the first two T20Is, was not a part of this match. Taking advantage of his absence, the African batter tore apart the rest of the Indian bowlers to hit a stormy century.

The left-handed batter scored a century against India off just 48 balls with the help of 7 fours and 8 sixes and a jaw-dropping strike-rate of 208.33. Rilee Rossouw scored a century for the first time in T20 International cricket.  Earlier, he has scored 3 fifties in this format. His fiery knock helped South Africa score 227 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs at Indore.
