A 35-year-old man reportedly troubled over debt, poisoned his wife and two children and later died by hanging himself in Bhagirathpura of Banganga police station area of Indore. Police also recovered a suicide note from the spot which revealed that the deceased, identified as Amit Yadav, was troubled over debt.
Police found the bodies of Amit’s wife Tina (29), daughter Yana (3) and son Divyansh (1.5 year-old) on the floor, while Amit’s body was found hanging from the noose.
The matter came to light on Tuesday morning when Amit’s mother-in-law and family reached his rented room after several calls were left unanswered. However, no one opened the door and Banganga police were informed. Police reached the spot and broke the door open only to find Amit hanging on the noose while his wife and two children were lying unconscious on the bed.
According to DCP Dharmendra Bhadauria, Amit used to do technical and setup work in Tower Company. Only a day before the incident, he had gone to the Ujjain Mahakal temple.
Preliminary probe has revealed that he had taken loans from companies which forced him to take the step. However, police are investigating the matter, DCP said.
SUICIDE NOTE FOUND
A suicide note was also recovered from the spot wherein Amit Yadav, purportedly revealed that he had taken loans from online apps like True Balance, Mobipocket, Moneyview, smart coin and that he was unable to repay those loans.
” I wish to live but my conditions are not the same. I am unable to repay loans. Fearing for my respect, I am taking this step and no one is to be blamed for my action”, the suicide note read.
