Nagpur: A 32-year-old debt-ridden man hanged himself to death at his house on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Sachin Tichkule, a resident of Pardhi Nagar and a driver by profession, said MIDC police.
Police said Tichkule was facing severe financial crisis for the last couple of years. “He was also under heavy debt, which caused severe mental stress to him,” said the police.
He allegedly committed suicide on Friday night after getting heavily drunk, said the police and added that Tichkule is survived by wife and nine-month-old daughter.
Police have registered accidental death in the matter.
