A man who fell into a pot of boiling porridge in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai died on Tuesday in a hospital. A man named Muthu Kumar had suffered 65% burns on 29 July as he fell into a pot of boiling porridge. He was admitted to the hospital. This incident with Muthu has been captured in the CCTV camera.

In such a situation, Muthu, wearing a white shirt, comes there and stands with the support of a vessel. Suddenly he falls into the boiling porridge. ‘Aadi Velli’ is an important festival celebrated throughout Tamil Nadu, where porridge is cooked and fed to the public in honor of Maa Amman. Under the same program, porridge was being cooked in a large pot for the devotees of Muthu Mariamman temple at Pazhanganatham in Madurai on Friday.

Fell in the pot after getting dizzy
Muthu was helping to prepare the porridge. During this he felt dizzy and stood near the pot. During this he fell into a big pot containing boiling porridge. The people around tried to help Muthu, but they could not get him out. At last, he dropped the pot, causing Muthu to come out.

After this people took care of Muthu and was taken to Rajaji Government Hospital, where the doctor told that his body was burnt to 65 percent. After fighting for life for three days, Muthu succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
