DDA Sasta Ghar Scheme 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the Sasta Ghar Scheme 2024, a significant housing initiative aimed at providing affordable homes to residents of Delhi, particularly those in the lower income brackets. It is a housing scheme for the disposal of about 34,177 flats under LIG and EWS at Narela, Rohini, Siraspur, Ramgarh Colony and Loknayakpuram in different tranches. The flats will be disposed on a first-come-first-serve basis. For EWS category, family income should not exceed Rs 10 lakh annually.

According to officials, a total of 750 people registered in the Sasta Ghar in Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 on the first day of registration on August 22.

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

The scheme is open to all Indian citizens. There shall be no restriction with regard to owning any land/built up property in Delhi.

Income Criteria

Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): Applicants with a family income of up to Rs 10 lakh per annum are eligible to apply under the EWS category.

Low-Income Groups (LIG): There is no income criterion for other income categories, except EWS.

Age Requirement

Applicants must be at least 18 years old on the last date of submission of the application.

Loan and Financial Support

The allotment of flats shall be made on cash down basis only except by the applicants belonging to PwD[Persons with Disability (Divyangjan)] category who will have the options of making payment either on “Cash Down” basis or in Equated Monthly Instalments (EMIs) on terms and conditions as applicable in their case.The rate of interest charged is simple interest @10% pa on monthly reducing balance.

Joint Applications

Joint applications are allowed. In case of joint application under Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), the applicant himself/ herself should fall within the respective reserved category and the joint applicant/ co-applicant should be from within the family. Family means a person or his/her parents or his/her blood relatives or his/her spouse or any of his/her dependent relative/s including unmarried children.

DDA Sasta Ghar Scheme 2024: How to Apply?

Step 4: Register for DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 (FCFS) by paying a non-refundable amount of Rs 2,500 (including GST).

Those applicants who have already registered themselves in FCFS Phase IV or Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2023 (FCFS) need not register again. Persons already registered in FCFS Phase IV or Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2023 (FCFS) and new applicants successfully registered for this FCFS scheme will be able to book the flats on offer.

Apart from the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024, the Delhi Development Authority is also offering flats under its General Housing Scheme 2024, and the DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024 for various categories including HIG, MIG, and LIG.

DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024

Housing Units on Offer: 173 flats

Price Range: Rs 1.28 crore onwards

Delhi Locations: Sector 14, 16B, and 19B in Dwarka

Categories: HIG, MIG, and LIG.

According to officials, a total of 750 people have registered in the Sasta Ghar in Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024, and 405 registered in DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme 2024 on the first day of the registration on Thursday.
