Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra has reached Kerala on the 5th day. The yatra, which started from Parasala area of ​​Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday morning, will run for 12 days in the state. Congress MPs KC Venugopal and Shashi Tharoor welcomed Rahul Gandhi on his arrival in Thiruvananthapuram. Former Kerala Chief Ministers Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala were also present in this.

A camp of containers was to be organized at an agriculture university in Thiruvananthapuram for tonight’s stay of Rahul Gandhi and the workers involved in the yatra. Permission was also taken from the administration for this. But the student wing of the Kerala CPM and the student unit of the university opposed it. Seeing the growing controversy, the Congress has made arrangements for accommodation of all the Indian travelers in a school today instead of the container.

Arrangements for the stay of 230 leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, have been made in about 60 containers. But after the opposition of the Left, everyone will have to spend the night in a school.

Congress launches Malayalam anthem of Yatra
The Congress on Sunday launched the Malayalam anthem of the Yatra after the Yatra entered Kerala. During this, many leaders including Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal were present. Enthused by the response to the yatra, the Congress wrote on Twitter – “Hands are meeting, hearts are joining”. Bharat Jodo Yatra is bringing India together.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra shared the photos of the Yatra and said that every section of the society is excited about the Bharat Jodo Yatra and this is evident from the participation and enthusiasm of farmers, labourers, youth, women, children and elders.

The journey of 450 km will be covered in Kerala.
During his 19-day journey in Kerala, Rahul will cover a distance of 450 km from Parasala to Nilambar in Malappuram. The Yatra will enter Kollam district on September 14 and reach Alappuzha on September 17. Thereafter, the Yatra will pass through Ernakulam district on September 21 and 22 and will reach Thrissur on September 23. The Yatra will pass through Palakkad on September 26 and 27 and will reach Malappuram on September 28.

The Yatra, which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, will pass through 12 states and two union territories. During this, Rahul Gandhi will cover a distance of 3,500 km. After 19 days of travel in Kerala, the next stop of the journey will be Karnataka.
