On the second day of Gujarat tour, Amit Shah will start the operation of 320 buses of State Road Transport Corporation in Gandhinagar today. He will also inaugurate the modern biological testing laboratory of Amulfed Dairy at Gandhinagar. After this, he will also inaugurate a gymnasium and library in Ahmedabad’s Naranpura ward and a redeveloped lake in Chharodi village.

Home Minister Amit Shah attended a BSF event in Gujarat’s Dwarka on Saturday. Here he said that BSF is deployed on the border, so I can sleep peacefully in Delhi. He laid the foundation stone for the permanent campus of the National Academy of Coastal Policing (NACP) at Okha. This campus is being built at a cost of Rs 470 crore.

Mantra given to officers in ‘Chintan Shivir’
Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the progress of work on issues like counter-terrorism, radicalization, internal security, cyber and information security, narcotics, disaster management during the second ‘Chintan Shivir’ at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Shah said, the Home Ministry should prepare a 25-year roadmap so that there is success in making India number one in the world. He said, now no one can stop India from becoming first in every field.

focus on finding solutions ahead of time
The Union Minister said, we should make every effort to anticipate the challenges of the future and find solutions in advance. Emphasis should be laid on further increasing the capacity to use and prevent misuse of modern technology, including drones and artificial intelligence, he added.

Amit Shah also virtually inaugurated five posts of BSF in Kutch district in this programme. These are among the 18 coastal outposts built at a cost of Rs 164 crore.

Central government gave 441 crores for NACP
BSF Gujarat Frontier said on Friday that NACP was established to strengthen the maritime borders of 9 states, 5 union territories bordering the sea. The central government has also sanctioned Rs 441 crore for this.
