The National Testing Agency (NTA) will stop accepting fresh registrations for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Exam tomorrow, December 4, 2023. Those who wish to appear for the exam but haven’t submitted their registration cum application forms for the CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Exam are advised to do the same at the earliest. Candidates may note that the applications for the exam are to be sent online on the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in. After the closure of the registration window, the NTA will also host the application correction facility for registered candidates from December 6 to December 8, 2023.
As per the official schedule, the NTA will conduct the CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Exam on December 26, 27, and 28, 2023. Registered candidates will be able to download their CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Admit Cards from the official website, two days before the commencement of the exams.
The CSIR-UGC NET December 2023 Exam will be conducted for five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The medium of the exam shall be bilingual with Hindi and English, both as the medium of the exam.
Notably, Joint CSIR UGC NET is a test being conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. Online applications for JRF/NET are invited twice a year on all India basis through Press Notification of Joint CSIR-UGC NET for JRF and LS/AP.
