The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has issued the seat allotment results for the CSAB 2024 supernumerary round today, August 20. Candidates who took part in the counselling process may view the CSAB 2024 seat allocation result for the supernumerary round on the official website, csab.nic.in. As per the official announcement, the board allots seats on the basis of merit, taking into account the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 common rank list rank for the vacant seats. The deadline to confirm the assigned seat and make payment is August 22.
The board is set to begin the procedure for uploading the necessary documents. As part of this process, they will also handle the payment of the Supernumerary Seat Acceptance Fee (SSAF) and complete the online verification for candidates with disabilities (PwD). The acceptance fee for a seat is Rs 25,000 for applicants who have been allotted for the first time and who fall under the categories of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
The CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) Supernumerary Round is specifically conducted for candidates aspiring to secure admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) such as NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat.
