It is learned that counterfeit notes were being made behind a photocopy shop in Shyambati area of ​​Santiniketan. The shop is named after Pradeep Khan. The CID officials got great success by raiding this photocopy shop. Pradeep’s father has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the case. However, the main accused Pradeep Khan is still known to be elusive. A search has been launched for him. Pradeep’s father is also being questioned.



It is learned that CID investigators raided the photocopy shop and recovered several counterfeit Rs 100 notes. Police also seized a photocopy and white paper. CID officials have learned from locals that lotteries used to be sold in this shop. Later, the volume of this shop suddenly changed. Investigators have begun questioning whether the counterfeit notes made here were smuggled across the state to other states.

It is learned that Pradeep stopped selling lottery only a few days ago. A photocopy machine was purchased and installed in the store. However, the shopkeepers in the area did not even notice the business of printing counterfeit notes under the guise of photocopying. When the CID team interrogated the shopkeepers in the area after the raid, they could guess that Pradeep was in the business of dishonesty.
