Corruption was rampantin SP, BSP rule: Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya | Varanasi News – Times of India

GORAKHPUR: Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya addressed the Jan Vishwas Yatra at Salempur in Deoria district through phone on Friday. The deputy CM had to visit the district to address the rally, but the programme was cancelled at the last moment.
Addressing the public meeting on phone, Maurya hitting out at the opposition, said, “There was only loot and corruption during the SP, BSP regimes. Sau mein 60 hamara hai, baki batwara hai aur us batware mein bhi hamara hai (Out of 100 votes 60 would go to the BJP and the rest would be divided and even in this category the BJP would have a lion’s share).”
Maurya appealed to people to extend full support to the BJP as the state and the Central government both are working for the development of Uttar Pradesh. “UP is writing a new chapter of development under the BJP government. The government is working for the benefit of villagers, poor, farmers and the youth. During the corona wave, the BJP government gave free ration to people. The BJP will form the government in 2022.”
Minister in-charge of the district Sriram Chauhan along with other party leaders were present at the stage at Salempur.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Harish Dwivedi said that no other party has done what the BJP’s double-engine government has done. Agriculture minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that the Modi-Yogi government is working sincerely to uplift the poor. MP Ravindra Kushwaha said that the government has waived the loan of farmers. Besides, record vaccination was done under the guidance of the PM Narendra Modi.
