Corona relief money wasted on alcohol-gambling restaurant owner!

Corona is a small restaurant business under pressure. The government paid the restaurant owner from the Covid fund to help. But the restaurant owner wasted all that money on alcohol. Gambling also played.

The incident took place at an Indian food restaurant in Wales, UK.

The name of the restaurant owner is Rathudi Mahesh Mangalananda. The 48-year-old businessman used to run a restaurant called Chatni Roti.

According to the UK’s Insolvency Service, the restaurant jumped into business before the epidemic began. So Kovid was not even eligible for financial support.

Nevertheless, in April 2020, Mangalananda applied to his local council for a grant of ২৫ 25,000. He applied for a ৮ 16,000 bounce back loan the following month.

He later filed for bankruptcy in July 2021. Soon after, the Insolvency Service began an investigation. And the worm comes out to dig in it. It can be seen that the whole of the financial support is ‘Ur khai govindaya namah ….’.

Gavin Seymour, Deputy Official Receiver of Bankruptcy Services, said: It’s all taxpayers’ money. It is inappropriate to abuse such a scheme. Those who are doing so need to be caught. Strict punishment should be given.

Mangalananda himself, however, has admitted ‘wrong’. He told investigators he had been drinking heavily and that his head was not working properly. He confessed that he had lost about 30,000 pounds by gambling in one year.
