The cases of corona infection are increasing once again in the country. The situation in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru is also getting serious and the city has been kept in the Red Zone in a list of the Center. A minister in the state government has stressed on the need to impose more restrictions to deal with the situation.
The situation in the country is once again getting serious due to the rapidly increasing cases of corona virus and its new variant Omicron. Restrictions have started again in many states. Karnataka had also imposed rules like night curfew on the occasion of New Year and it is believed that more strict restrictions may be imposed in the state in the coming days.
State Revenue Minister R Ashok said on Sunday that according to the list released by the Central Government, the capital Bengaluru is in the Red Zone. Alert needs to be issued in Bengaluru. If we implement more restrictions in Bangalore, lives can be saved and the number of hospitalization cases can be reduced, he said.
