In Jabalpur, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects in sectors such as road, rail, gas pipeline, housing and clean drinking water, it said.

PM Modi inaugurated a light house project at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Built at a cost of about Rs 128 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban, the project will benefit more than 1,000 beneficiary families as part of his vision of “housing for all”.

He also laid the foundation stone of multiple Jal Jeevan Mission projects in Mandla, Jabalpur and Dindori districts worth over Rs 2,350 crore and inaugurated a drinking water project under the same scheme in Seoni district.

Further, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation multiple projects more than Rs 4,800 crore for improving the road infrastructure in the state.

He also dedicated to the nation rail projects worth more than Rs 1,850 crore and 352 km-long Vijaipur-Auraiyan-Phulpur pipeline project built at a cost of more than Rs 1,750 crore, among several other development facilities he launched during the visit.

Modi also performed a ceremony of “Veerangana Rani Durgavati Smarak aur Udyaan” in Jabalpur to commemorate the queen known for her valiant fight against the Mughals.

The Prime Minister said Congress scams used to make headlines every day before 2014 when the BJP came to power at the Centre.

After 2014, Modi cut their commission… We have destroyed Congress corruption structure,” he added.

“Projects worth Rs 12,000 crores of rupees have been inaugurated in the state. Be it a water and gas pipeline or a four-lane road network, it will change the lives of lakhs of people. It will benefit the farmers and new factories will be set up. Youth will get the employment,” he said..

PM Modi said that the Centre used technology to remove the fake names of 11 crore people from the government offices who were taking the share of poor people.

The Prime Minister said the party that remained in power for decades has done only one thing, just eulogizing one family. “Neither the nation got its independence because of just one family, nor did it develop because of them, Modi said at the public meeting, without naming the Congress or the Gandhi family,” he said.

PM Modi said his government ensured that women get gas connections through the Ujjwala scheme for cooking food instead of using the smoky chulha or wood-fired stove that was a health hazard.
