Even now the list of 56 candidates of Congress is yet to be released.
Congress has released the third list of candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections. These include the names of 37 candidates. There are also 2 female names in the list. In this way, Congress has so far released the list of its 126 candidates. According to information received from party sources, the list of remaining names may also be released by tomorrow afternoon.
BJP also released the names of three candidates
On the other hand, after a long discussion, the BJP has also released its third list of three more candidates on Wednesday. Earlier, BJP had released the first list of 160 candidates. In this way, the names of 17 more candidates of the ruling party BJP are yet to be announced.
Voting will be held on 1 and 5 December
The first phase of voting in the state will be held on December 1, while the second phase of voting will be held on December 5. At the same time, the counting of votes for both the phases will take place on December 8. The gazette notification for the first phase voting process was issued on November 5 and for the second phase voting process on November 10. The scrutiny will take place on November 15 for the first phase, while the date for the second phase is November 18. The last date for withdrawal of nominations has been set for November 17 for the first phase and November 21 for the second phase.
