Asaduddin Owaisi accused the Congress of making false promises even at the time of the demolition of the Babri Masjid.
AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi attacked the manifesto of the Congress party on Tuesday. He said that Congress, the oldest party, only makes promises before elections, does not fulfill them. Even at the time of the demolition of the Babri Masjid, the party had resolved to rebuild the mosque, but what happened? Nothing.
Owaisi also denied the claim made by the Congress about him. He said that Congress claims that BJP has sent me to divide Muslim votes in Karnataka. All this is rubbish. We are contesting only on two seats in the whole of Karnataka. He also quoted a proverb for the Congress – Nach na jaane aangan tedha.
Congress releases manifesto for Karnataka elections
The Congress on Tuesday released its manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly. In this, Congress has promised to ban organizations like Bajrang Dal if it forms the government. The party has announced to give 200 units of free electricity to every family, 2 thousand rupees every month to every female head of the family. The party has also made announcements to woo the youth voters. Under this, it has been announced to give Rs 3,000 per month to unemployed graduates and Rs 1,500 per month to diploma holders for two years. Apart from this, women have also been promised free travel in state government buses.
