The Congress High Command has appeared helpless in front of the warning of the Young Brigade. The top leaders of the party are shouting 57 seats clear for four days. When the first list of tickets was released last night, 11 names are missing in it and only 46 list was issued.

Tickets of many leaders like veteran MLA from Kinnaur Jagat Singh Negi, former minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri, former state president Kuldeep Kumar, who raised the voice of the party vigorously inside and outside the house, were held. Surprisingly, first the State Congress Committee, then the Screening Committee and finally the Center Election Committee also passed a proposal to give tickets to all the sitting MLAs, former ministers and former state presidents.

The Congress high command did not clear the tickets of these three veteran leaders, stumbling upon its own proposal. It shows how capable the party is in making decisions. Firstly, the list of tickets is held for three days on the threat of youth. Now holding the tickets of many veteran leaders is raising questions on the functioning of the party.

the helplessness of the high command

According to political experts, the helplessness of the party high command is clearly visible. It is believed that the party may suffer losses due to the holding of tickets of senior leaders working at the grassroots level under pressure from the young Turks who circumambulate the Delhi Durbar.

The war between these leaders over the ticket

From Kinnaur, there is a war between Youth Congress President Nigam Bhandari and Jagat Singh Negi over the ticket. Similarly, in Sarkaghat, former ministers Rangeela Rama Rao, Pawan Thakur and Youth Congress working president Yadopati Thakur are in the race for the ticket. On the other hand, in Chamba’s Bharmour, there is a contest between Youth Congress General Secretary Surjit Bharmouri and former minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri over the ticket.

Indu Verma will be a rebel, BJP may give ticket

The Theog assembly has been in a lot of discussion for a month regarding ticket allocation in the Congress. A section of the party had been lobbying for the ticket for Indu Verma, who joined the Congress from the BJP here, but the CEC cut her ticket at the last moment and gave ticket to former Congress state president Kuldeep Rathore.

This ticket to Rathore is believed to be a reward for the four-nil victory in the by-elections last year, but there are talks of angry Indu Verma going back to the BJP. According to sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called Indu Verma to Delhi. BJP can make Indu its candidate from Theog.
