Ram Navami celebrations in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and West Bengal were disrupted by brutal communal rioting on Sunday. While the actual number of injured has yet to be ascertained, all of the above-mentioned states’ localities have been placed under increased observation. During clashes that erupted during the Ram Navami procession in various areas of Khargone on Sunday, at least ten houses were set on fire, and more than two dozen people were injured, including Superintendent of Police (SP) Siddharth Choudhary, forcing the administration to impose a curfew in some areas of the city.
