Punjab CM Charanjit Channi made a big claim after the blast in the Ludhiana court premises on Thursday afternoon. He said in gestures that the drug mafia could be behind this blast. Not only this blast, but the sacrilege in Amritsar Golden Temple and the incident of Kapurthala is also related to this. The CM says that ever since his government has started action against drugs, such incidents have started happening.
The Chief Minister said, ‘I am not saying this from my heart, but the agencies of Punjab have told me so.’ After CM Channi’s claim, the question has arisen whether it is the intelligence failure of the Punjab government that it could not even anticipate the reaction on taking action. Also, if the government knew in advance, then why the government and the Chief Minister himself could not stop such incidents in time.
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi inquires about the condition of the injured person in the blast on Thursday afternoon in the Ludhiana court premises.
CM said – watch the timing, everything is being done to save yourself
After taking stock of the Ludhiana court complex, CM Channi said, ‘We have to see the sacrilege and timing of the bomb blast. Somebody wants to take votes by intimidation or all this is being done to protect themselves. This is not a political thing, but since we are after drugs, such incidents are happening. First there was sacrilege in the Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. Then a man was killed in Kapurthala where there was no sacrilege. Today there was a hearing in the drug case in Mohali, then there was a blast in Ludhiana. We have to see from which angle it is? It is on this side that some force wants to intimidate Punjab.
The CM, while confirming his point, even said that the investigating agencies of the Punjab government have given these inputs. This sort of thing can happen.
After the blast in the Ludhiana court premises, the crowd gathered below
- How has the government proved to be weak?
- drunk on 6 Action intensified after December : This claim of CM Channi proves the intelligence failure of the Punjab government headed by him or his weakness as the Chief Minister himself. The issue of drug addiction in Punjab has been a hot topic for a long time. Punjab Congress President Navjot Sidhu changed the Advocate General (AG) to take action in the drug case. On 19 November, Advocate DS Patwalia became the new AG of Punjab. After that the big issue was the report of the Special Task Force (STF) lying sealed in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. On December 6, the High Court reprimanded the government. After that the action against drugs intensified.
- Let’s talk about Majithia’s case. Went Groove: Channi Sarkar is going to file a case against Akali leader Bikram Majithia in the drug case, it became clear when the Director of Punjab Police’s Bureau of Investigation ADGP SK Asthana went on leave. After that the letter related to it was also leaked.
- If the CM’s claim is true, then 3 important questions from the Punjab government
- If the Congress government was taking action against drugs since 15 days and Majithia had to be booked, did the government not anticipate its reaction?
- Has the government’s intelligence missed it? Why could the intelligence not guess earlier that the drug mafia could also do something wrong?
- If the intelligence had assessed this and gave input to the Channi government, then why the government could not stop the incident of sacrilege and subsequent blasts?
(CM Channi said that there was hearing of drug case in Mohali and blast took place in Ludhiana. Actually, this hearing was on anticipatory bail plea of Akali leader Bikram Majithia. If the government and agencies knew about it then then the blast in Ludhiana was stopped. Why couldn’t I go.)
Two-time Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh has been questioning the ability of Charanjit Singh Channi as Chief Minister and Sukhjinder Randhawa as Home Minister.
Questions on the experience of the CM and Home Minister who have raised the Captain
Captain Amarinder Singh, who was the CM of Punjab twice, has been continuously calling Charanjit Channi as a weak Chief Minister. The Captain has also been questioning the ability of Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa, who is looking after the Home Department in Punjab. According to Amarinder Singh, these two have no experience. Punjab being a border state has security threats from across the border but Randhawa is in denial mode. However, when Randhawa was asked about this statement of the Captain in Ludhiana on Thursday, he angrily asked the opposite question whether this blast happened by asking the Captain? Had the Captain acted earlier, the blast would not have happened today.
