Chhattisgarh: CM Bhupesh Baghel To Inaugurate 8,152 Renovated School Buildings Today

Chattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate 8,152 newly renovated school buildings in the state today. Besides the inauguration, the Chief Minister will hand over 1,500 appointment letters to newly appointed teachers in the state. The CMO Chhattisgarh announced the inauguration ceremony and distribution of appointment letters through X (formerly Twitter) today. “On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate 8152 renovated school buildings. Mr. Baghel will also hand over appointment letters to 1500 newly appointed teachers,” reads an official post from CMO Chhattisgarh on X. 

Notably, earlier in December last year, the Chhattisgarh government pushed on revamping the school infrastructure in the state. The revamping scheme also included hostels, ashrams and other government b buildings like Collectorate, Sub-Divisional and Tehsil offices, Police Stations and Police Outposts. Back last year, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel stressed upon repairing and upgrading school buildings before the next academic season.
