At least 13 people were injured in New York subway shooting on Tuesday in what appeared to be a lone wolf attack. The injured have been admitted to various hospitals. Here are the first visuals from the Brooklyn Subway where the shooting took place.

In the video, people can be seen running out of a train on 36th Street choking on thick smoke, indicating that the suspect might have tossed a smoke canister on the platform.

The police are trying to establish whether the shooting took place inside or outside the train. There are no details yet on the kind of injuries sustained in the attack.

According to police, at least five people were shot at. However, no explosive devices were found on the train.

A suspect fled wearing an orange construction vest and a gas mask, according to the police, who are on the lookout for the gunman.
