Changes in Agniveer recruitment process in Punjab: Common entrance exam will be held first, then physical; Registration will be done till March 15

The recruitment process has been changed in the Indian Army from this year, according to which the first online Common Entrance Exam (Joint Entrance Examination) will be taken for the youth joining the army from this year. All the successful candidates in the Common Entrance Exam will have a physical recruitment rally as before. The details of the venue and date of the rally will be announced separately. For which 176 centers have been set up across the country, each youth can choose five cadres to take the exam.

Recruitment Director Colonel Saurabh Charan told that online examinations will start from 17th April. Online registration for Agniveer Sena Bharti has started which will continue till 15 March 2023. All the interested candidates who want to Join Indian Army as Agniveer can apply online through Indian Army official website- www.joinindianarmy.nic.in through Aadhaar Card or 10th Certificate.

Candidates of this age can apply
All Eligible Unmarried Male/Female Candidates Born Between October 01, 2002 to April 01, 2006 (Both dates inclusive) Required Educational Qualification Agniveer (General Duty, Agniveer Tradesman) (8th & 10th Pass), Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper Technical, Agniveer Technical (amongst all, Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police) categories. Eligible male candidates are also invited for Constable Technical (Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary) and Constable Pharma categories.

He said that the Joint Entrance Examination would be conducted on computer. Information in this regard has been given on the Indian Army website and YouTube. Apart from this, practice test will also be available on the website. He said that the fee for Joint Entrance Examination is Rs.500 out of which Rs.250 is paid by the government and young candidates can pay the fee through UPI/BHIM or credit and debit cards or through any major bank.

Admit card will be issued after registration
Admit cards will be issued to the candidates only after successful registration. The admit cards of the Joint Entrance Examination will be issued to the candidates on the said website 10 to 14 days in advance. Information in this regard will be given through MMS on their registered e-mail ID and registered mobile. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Joint Entrance Examination and Physical Test.
