India has once again tried to reach the moon. ISRO launched Chandrayaan-3 mission. On the other hand, the Dwarkadhish temple of Gujarat has implemented the dress code for the devotees. We will further tell you how much the dearness allowance of the employees has increased in MP.

1. Chandrayaan-3 reaches Earth’s orbit, will land on the moon in 40 days

Chandrayaan was sent into space by an LVM3-M4 rocket from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

ISRO launched the Chandrayaan-3 mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on Friday afternoon at 2.35 pm. Chandrayaan was sent into space through LVM3-M4 rocket. Chandrayaan successfully reached the Earth’s orbit after 16 minutes. Its landing on the moon will be on August 23 at 5.47 pm.

Why this news is important:
ISRO tried to land Chandrayaan on the moon in 2008 and 2019, but India failed. If the lander of Chandrayaan-3 is successful in landing on the moon, then India will become the fourth country to do so. Earlier, America, Russia and China have landed their spacecraft on the moon. ISRO wants to gather information about chemical elements, soil and water in the moon under this mission.

2. Dress code implemented in Dwarkadhish temple, Trust said – maintain the dignity of the temple

Dress code has been implemented for devotees at Dwarkadhish temple in Gujarat. Banners have been put up outside the temple. In which devotees have been requested to dress according to Indian culture and maintain dignity in the temple. The temple administration has taken this decision after the complaints of the people.

Why this news is important: In the last five months, dress code has been implemented in many temples of 8 states of the country including UP-Rajasthan. The temple administration says that many people come wearing indecent clothes and make videos. This spoils the campus environment. That’s why dress code has to be implemented.

Three children died due to floods in Delhi. Here, Yamuna reached 3.4 meters above the danger mark. The situation is such that the water of the river has reached the Supreme Court, Red Fort, Rajghat and ISBT-Kashmiri Gate. On the demand of CM Kejriwal, the Center has deployed Army’s Engineering Corps personnel to handle the front.

Why this news is important: The water level of Yamuna in Delhi broke the record of 45 years by reaching 208.4. Such flood had come in the year 1978, when the water level had reached 207.49 metres. According to government figures, 18 people had lost their lives at that time and lakhs of people were rendered homeless.

4. Another cheetah died in MP’s Kuno, only 16 cheetahs left out of 24

Suraj, the second cheetah, died in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park in a week. Earlier on Tuesday, Tejas had died. According to sources, there was a violent clash between the two Cheetahs. However, the officials are trying to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Why this news is important: Cheetahs returned to the country after 70 years in September 2022. A total of 20 cheetahs were brought to India from South Africa and Namibia. A female cheetah gave birth to four cubs. In such a situation, their number became 24. Of these, only 16 cheetahs are left. The Supreme Court has also expressed displeasure over the death of cheetahs and has ordered to shift the center to another place.

6. Dalit girl raped in Rajasthan, BJP MP said – Her face was burnt with acid

The body of an 18-year-old Dalit girl was found in a well in Karauli, Rajasthan. It is alleged that the girl was shot dead after being raped. After this the face was burnt with acid, so that the face could not be recognized. Several BJP leaders, including MP Kirori Lal Meena, staged a sit-in outside the hospital over the arrest of the accused.

Why this news is important: According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), a total of 6,337 rape cases were reported in Rajasthan in the year 2021, which is a thousand more than 5,310 in the year 2020. According to the report, Rajasthan has the highest number of rape cases in 2020 and 2021 as compared to other states. NCRB has not yet released the figures for 2022-23.

8. Dearness allowance of employees increased by 4% in MP, now they will get 42% like the center

More than 7 lakh employees of MP will be given 42% dearness allowance equal to the center from the month of August. This will benefit the employees from Rs 400 to Rs 6000 per month. The arrears of dearness allowance will be given in 3 equal installments from January to June.

Why this news is important: Government employees of 15 states are getting 42% allowance at par with the Centre. These include MP, UP, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Goa, Bihar, Assam, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala and Odisha.
