CES 2022 laptops: Acer announces Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition laptop made from recycled materials – Times of India

Expanding its green and sustainable PC Aspire Vero lineup, Acer has announced the National Geographic Edition of the laptop at CES 2022. The new Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition laptop incorporates design elements evocative of planet Earth.
The company also says that each purchase of the Vero laptops helps support the U.S.-based global nonprofit National Geographic Society in its work to protect our world through exploration, research, and education.
The major highlight of the laptop is its Reduce, Reuse and Recycle approach. The laptop features 30% PCR plastic chassis cutting CO2 emissions by 21% to produce that part.
Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition: Price and availability
The NatGeo edition laptop will be available in France in March and will be priced at EUR 899 (approximately Rs 75,760). It will be available in China in January.
The company has also confirmed that the laptop will be made available in multiple countries across the Asia Pacific region.
Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition: Specification
Apart from all the green and sustainable approach, the laptop also comes with 11th-generation Intel Core processor with integrated Intel Iris graphics.
It comes with Windows 11 pre-installed and features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, Type-C port, two Type-A ports as the connectivity options. The laptop will also offer easily replaceable RAM slots by removing the back panel.
In terms of design, the Natgeo edition comes with several diagonal lines running across half of the top cover which divides the laptop between land and sea. The laptop also has a small topographic map at the top.
Under the lid, there’s the iconic National Geographic yellow border, which has been printed directly onto the bottom right corner of the keyboard.
