Realtek Development and Infrastructure and Developers, including international tennis player Maria Sharapova and Formula One’s renowned racer Michael Schumacher, have been booked for cheating at Badshahpur police station on the orders of a Gurugram court. The case is related to booking a residential apartment, in which a Delhi woman was cheated of about Rs 80 lakh. Police has started investigation of the whole matter.

For this, a check of Rs 35 lakh was also given on 16 March 2013. This project was to be completed in 6 years i.e. by 2019. After that 28 lakh on 7 August 2013, 12 lakh on 10 August 2013 and then on 15 December 2013 another check of Rs 4 lakh 1 thousand 848 was given. A total amount of Rs 79 lakh 1 thousand 848 was given. When the work on the project did not start even after a long time, he wrote the first letter on 6 January 2015 to Realtek Development and Infrastructure Company and the developers seeking their money back and then till 16 February 2016 in 10 consecutive emails and various Sent through but no response received. In the meantime, he came to know that the company in whose name the project is being talked about has not acquired any land in this area. He accused international figures of being part of the fraud through his association and promoting it. It also accused Sharapova and Schumacher, as promoters of the project, of conspiring with buyers. After which he started fighting the legal battle. Meanwhile, a complaint was also given to the police. Now on the orders of Gurugram court, Badshahpur police station has registered a case under sections 420, 406, 120B.

Tennis star also visited the site
Saifali said in the istagasa filed in the court that we came to know about the project through advertisements and got in touch with the company management after the pictures of the project and a lot of false promises were made. Sharapova and Schumacher, as promoters of the project, conspired with the buyers. Saifali alleged that the former tennis star had also visited the site and promised to open a tennis academy and sports store here. Not only this, had a dinner party with the buyers.
