A video of the Birbhum massacre in Rampurhat, which led to the killing of TMC leader Bhadu Sheikh, has now surfaced. In which some miscreants are seen coming near Bhadu sitting on the car and attacking them with bombs. After Bhadu’s murder, eight charred bodies were found after a mob torched some houses with petrol bombs in Bagtui village of Rampurhat on March 21. Later, a woman with severe burns died in the hospital.

Evidence of Bhadu’s murder found after 14 days
In the CCTV footage that surfaced 14 days after the Birbhum violence, the accused Bhadu Sheikh is seen making three consecutive attacks. From one-and-a-half minutes of footage, it has been learned that the accused came on a bike and made three attacks one after the other. The first was thrown at Bhadu Sheikh, the second at a distance so that the security personnel or no one could come to the rescue, and the third was again thrown directly at Bhadu.

Bucket full of country bombs found two days ago
On Saturday, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) recovered a bucket full of country-made bombs in Bagtui. According to the information received from the informers, while taking action, the police searched near the house of Palas Sheikh in the village. During this, the police found a bucket full of country-made bombs, which was kept hidden near Palas’s house. Palas Bhadu is the main accused in the murder case. The explosives were defused by taking them to a field.
