CBSE Issues Showcause Notice To 27 Schools in Delhi, Rajasthan For Violation Of Laws – News18

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice to a total of 27 schools that were found guilty of dummy admission and violation of other laws. This includes schools from Delhi and Rajasthan region. Apart from this, many other rules made by CBSE were also being ignored by these schools.

Officials say that many schools were violating the provisions, due to which show-cause notices have been issued to these schools. According to the information received, a team of CBSE had conducted a surprise inspection of some of these schools during which many flaws ranging from admissions to the schools were found. In many schools, the number of students admitted in classes 11th-12th was shown to be high, whereas in reality, the number of students was less. Not only this, many other guidelines from enrollment, and attendance were also not being followed in these schools.

List of schools violating norms as per CBSE

The CBSE schools to which notice has been issued include 22 schools from the Delhi region and five schools from the Ajmer region. CBSE found rules being violated in these schools after which notice was issued to them. CBSE has issued show cause notices to all these schools regarding enrolment and attendance of students. Now these schools will have to answer it. If CBSE is not satisfied with their answer, then further action can be taken. Previously, CBSE has cancelled the recognition of more than 20 schools for showing a fake number of students.

Meanwhile, CBSE has begun the registration window for classes 10, and 12 board exams 2025. Students currently in grades 10 and 12 must complete the exam form and register for the board examinations. The board-affiliated schools are required to turn in the List of Candidates and (LOC). The entire process must be completed online using the Pareeksha Sangam website, which is, parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in. The last date to apply is October 4, 2024.
