CBSE CTET 2023 Answer Key Released at ctet.nic.in, Raise Objections by Sept 18 – News18

CTET 2023 Answer Key: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET 2023 provisional answer key. Candidates who took the exam can check the answer key on the official website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates can challenge the answer keys till September 18, up to 11.59 PM. A fee of Rs 1000 per question is required to be submitted through credit or debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable, the notice stated.

“All the candidates who appeared in CTET held on 20th August, 2023 are informed that the scanned images of OMR Answer Sheet of the candidates & Answer Keys are uploaded on the website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 15/09/2023to18/09/2023 (upto 11.59 PM),” read the official notice by CBSE.

Candidates can use the marking scheme to calculate their probable scores with the help of the provisional answer key. As per the CTET marking scheme, one mark is awarded for every correct answer. There is no negative marking.

To clear the exam, candidates belonging to the unreserved category must get at least 60 per cent, or 90 out of 150 marks. While students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and People with Disabilities (PWD) categories, must receive 55 per cent, or 82 out of 150 to pass the exam.

CBSE organised the exam on August 20 for which more than 29 lakh candidates had registered. Out of the 29,03,903 candidates who registered for CTET 2023, as many as 15,01,719 candidates applied for paper 1 and 14,02,184 for paper 2. The 17th edition of CTET was held in 3,121 examination centres throughout India in 136 cities. While 80 per cent of the registered candidates had appeared in the examination.

Based on the objections raised by the candidates, CBSE will release the CTET 2023 final answer key and result. According to media reports, the result of CTET 2023 is likely to be released at the end of September. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this at the moment. Candidates will be able to check their scores by entering their roll number, password, and captcha here. The result of the exam will also be made available on DigiLocker.
