CBI reached the resort to investigate Sonali murder: Team got the room videographed, also recorded the statements of the staff

CBI team has started its investigation in Sonali murder case. On Saturday, the CBI team reached the Grand Leoni resort. Where Sonali was staying with accused Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhvindra.

The team was also accompanied by a team of forensics. The CBI recorded the statements of the staff. Also did videography inside and outside the room. The CBI team will also hold talks with the investigation team of the Goa Police, who investigated the matter. Along with this, property documents and three diaries of Sonali will also be taken from the two-member team that came to Hisar.

Sonali’s brother Rinku Dhaka said that when the team came to Bhuthan Kala village in Fatehabad on Friday, we put forth a demand for videography of the post-mortem to be made available to them. To which the CBI team said that the matter has been handed over. They will convey their demand to their higher officials. As soon as they are ordered, they will be made available.

Please tell that CBI went to Bhoothan Kalan and met Sonali’s family. The team had asked to involve the family in the investigation. DSP Rajesh Kumar and Inspector Rishiraj were included in this team.

Goa Police had refused to give the CD

Goa Police had refused to videograph the post mortem report to Sonali Phogat’s family members. On Thursday evening, Sonali’s brother Rinku Dhaka called the Anjuma Police Station Inspector of Goa Police.

Rinku demanded the videography CD during the post-mortem report, but the inspector said that this case has now been handed over to the CBI and you should now take the videography CD from the CBI itself. Rinku told that according to the rules two CDs of videography were to be made, one CD was to be with the police and the other was to be provided to us by Goa Police.

The murder took place on 23 August

There are 5 accused in the Sonali murder case. Sonali died on 23 August in Goa. Sonali had gone to Goa with her PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Sangwan. On the complaint of Sonali’s brother Rinku, the Goa Police had registered a case against her Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder for murder and under NDPS Act. While a case was registered against club operators Edwin Nunis, Datta Prasad and Ramakant Masupa under the NDPS Act. Sonali’s family members were demanding a CBI inquiry into the entire matter. After which the Goa government had written a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs demanding a CBI inquiry.
