The CBI judge, who is hearing the cattle smuggling case, has got a threat letter. The judge has been threatened with an NDPS case against his family if TMC leader Anubrata Mondal is not released on bail.
The letter has been sent by one Bappa Chatterjee, who claims to be head clerk of executive magistrate court Bardhaman and TMC employees’ union secretary.
Anubrata Mondal, who was arrested by the CBI on August 11, is in the central agency’s custody in connection with a cattle smuggling case.
