Cases Hit Single Digits After Rise For Two Days | Vadodara News – Times of India

VADODARA: After rising for two consecutive days, the number of fresh cases of Covid-19 reported in the city and district dipped to a single digit again on Thursday.
In the 24 hours ending on Thursday evening, only five new cases were reported against 11 on Wednesday. The five cases were reported from 1,183 tests. Against this, 11 cases on Wednesday were reported from a nearly equal 1,220 tests.
The east zone of the city reported one case while west zone reported two. The north and south zones did not report any new cases. Two cases were reported in areas of the district outside the city limits.
As many as 17 persons were discharged in the city and district on Thursday, leaving 27 active cases. As many as 21 of these cases are in hospitals. One patient is on ventilation and is critical while three others are in ICUs.
