As nominations are starting in Punjab from tomorrow, the alliance is busy finalizing the election strategy at a fast pace.

Alliance in the field for the first time

In Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh has contested all the recent elections from the Congress. Where he was once the Punjab President of the Congress and sometimes the Chief Minister. This is the first time that he is contesting elections in alliance with the BJP. Veteran leader Sukhdev Dhindsa’s SAD (United) is also involved in the alliance with him. Of these, BJP has declared candidates on 35, Captain Amarinder Singh’s party Punjab Lok Congress 22 and SAD combined 14 seats.

Election campaign strategy will also be made

The BJP has not yet started the election campaign in Punjab. PM Narendra Modi had come to Ferozepur in Punjab for this on 5 January. However, he had to return without addressing the rally after a security lapse. The Captain is also ready to campaign for the BJP in other election states like Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand besides Punjab. In such a situation, the strategy of campaigning for the Captain-BJP and Dhindsa alliance in Delhi will also be ready.
