In a school in Jamshedpur, the teacher examined the girl student by taking off her clothes in front of everyone on charges of cheating. After this incident, the student became so upset and embarrassed that she reached home and set herself on fire. The 9th student has suffered 95% burns. His condition is serious. At present, he has been admitted to Tata Main Hospital (TMH).
The case is of Shardamani Girls High School in Chhayanagar, Sitaramdera. It is alleged that on Friday, on suspicion of copying, teacher Chandra Das took off the clothes of Ritu Mukhi (15 years) and investigated. The class IX student was so hurt that as soon as she came home, she set herself on fire by sprinkling kerosene in the school dress itself. The girl, engulfed in flames, came out of the house on the road and fell unconscious. People put out the fire by pouring water. Then immediately took him to MGM Hospital. He was referred to Tata Main Hospital (TMH) with around 95 per cent burns.
A case has been registered against teacher Chandra Das. The teacher has been detained by the police, she is being interrogated. The school management has also said that the matter will be investigated. The school has been closed for two days. The exam has also been postponed for the time being.

The girl who set the fire herself narrated her ordeal. Read in his own words. I study in Shardamani School. Went to give science exam in the terminal exam which started on Friday. At 4 pm, the invigilator Chandra Das caught me saying that I was cheating. After this he slapped me in front of everyone. Then got my clothes taken off in front of everyone.
Earlier, I protested that there is no chit inside the cloth, then he said – you become a sage, take off the clothes. Then from there I was taken to the principal’s room. After my vacation, I came back to my house. I was so embarrassed by this incident that I sent the sisters to the neighbor’s house and set myself on fire in the room itself.
After the incident, the family is in a bad condition.

After leaving at 4.15 pm, she went home. Whatever allegations are being made, they are wrong. His family members have also not informed about getting clothes off in class.
