Jimin and Jungkook exhibited their beefed-up physique in the clicks shared by a senior member from the military unit.
New photos of BTS members Jimin and Jungkook have emerged on social media. The duo are currently serving their time in the compulsory 18-month military training, along with fellow boy band members — Suga, V, J-hope, and RM. Jin, who was the first BTS member to enlist in the South Korean Army was discharged on June 12. Jimin and Jungkook were the last ones to be appointed in the mandatory service last year in December. Now, a senior member who was reportedly released from the military unit has shared a set of pictures on his Instagram handle, featuring the two rappers.
Some fan pages also dropped the photographs on X (formerly Twitter). The snaps captured Jimin and Junkook sharing the same frame with the other soldiers. Junkook leaned on a colleague, his tattooed arm on full display. Jimin stood on the other side of the group, facing the camera. Both the BTS members exhibited their beefed-up physique in the click. A signed jacket also made it to the carousel, alongside a bunch of photos comprising some army men.
As soon as the pictures surfaced on the Internet, the BTS Army was quick to react. An eagle-eyed fan pointed out, “Only him (Jimin) wearing different clothes and boots. Looking good, staying healthy.” “Our elite soldier Park Jimin. His aura is indeed different,” praised another. “OMG, this is Jimin and Jungkook’s recent military photo! They both look so good and youthful with that haircut,” noted a person.

In May, Kim Tae-hyung aka V shared some pictures from the military facility on his now-disappeared Instagram Stories. In the first frame, the Dynamite singer struck a pose with his colleagues, all decked up in army uniforms and beret caps. “Current situation,” read the translated version of V’s side note. The rapper also offered his fans a glimpse of his pet Pomeranian Yeontan in his social media entry.
Coming to Jimin and Jungkook, the duo has delighted fans with their new travel variety show Are You Sure?!. The first two episodes premiered on August 8 at Disney Plus. The season finale is scheduled to premiere on September 19.
All of the BTS members are expected to reunite in 2025.
