Sonu Kumar was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Bathinda due to serious injuries in this beating. There his condition remains critical. The name of a woman is also among the attackers. In this connection, the police registered a case against Mani Singh, Kuldeep Singh alias Bari, Lavi Singh, Gopal Singh, Amrik Singh and Malkit Kaur under several serious sections including intention-e-murder. One accused was arrested.

The accused are seen attacking Sonu Kumar’s hands and feet one after the other. Sonu Kumar keeps pleading with them to release him but the accused do not feel any pity. At the end of the video, a man even slaps Sonu on his face.
Police has registered a case against 6 people in this case under several serious sections including intention-e-murder.
