<h3><strong>President Murmu To Attend Events In Nagpur Today:&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>President Droupadi Murmu will be in Nagpur on Friday and Saturday to attend a few events, news agency PTI reported citing officials. The President’s office had previously issued a statement regarding her visit to the city.</p>
<p>Murmu will be the chief guest at the Government Medical College and Hospital’s (GMCH) platinum jubilee celebrations in the city on December 1, according to the District Information Office, as reported by PTI.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The function will be presided over by Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, with guests of honour including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, and Hasan Mushrif, state minister of medical education, according to GMCH.</p>
<h3><strong>Amit Shah To Attend BSF Raising Day Function In Jharkhand On Friday:&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the 59th Raising Day programme on December 1 in Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh, PTI reported citing officials.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The function will be held for the first time at Meru in Hazaribagh, the border force’s oldest training centre.</p>
<p>"The event’s chief guest will be Shah. "He will salute during the parade," said KS Baniyal, Inspector General of the BSF Training Centre and School at Meru, the report said.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The parade will take place at the Rani Laxmi Bai Parade Ground on the Meru Campus, which has been specially decorated for the occasion. The programme will include horses, sniffer dogs, and camels associated with the force, according to Baniyal.</p>
<h3><strong>AAP To Seek Public Opinion From Dec 1 On Whether Kejriwal Should Resign As CM If Arrested:&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>The AAP will hold a signature drive from December 1 to 20 to gauge public opinion on whether Arvind Kejriwal should resign as Delhi chief minister if he is arrested as part of a "BJP conspiracy," according to the party’s city convener Gopal Rai.</p>
<p>In a press conference with party MP Raghav Chadha, Rai claimed the BJP plotted to have Kejriwal arrested in the "fake" liquor scam case in order to demolish the Aam Aadmi Party.</p>
<p>From Friday, AAP volunteers will carry pamphlets to all 2,600 polling stations across the city, asking for people’s signatures on whether Kejriwal should step down as Delhi chief minister if he is arrested, he said.</p>
<p>According to Rai, Kejriwal met with AAP MLAs and councillors to get their thoughts on the matter, and there was agreement that he should not resign and run the government from jail.</p>
