This decision was taken in the meeting of BJP Minority Morcha held at the BJP headquarters on Thursday. Morcha’s National President Jamal Siddiqui says that the yatra will start from Delhi and end in Bhopal. BJP’s Sneh Yatra will be taken out in those 14 states. There are 63 Lok Sabha seats in these states where the number of minorities ranges from 32 per cent to 98 per cent.
Yatra will also pass through Wayanad in Kerala
According to Siddiqui, this yatra will also take place in Wayanad, Kerala, the Lok Sabha seat of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Minority Front’s national media in-charge Yasir Jilani says that this yatra will be held in Goa as well.
However, the Christian population in the minority there is more than the Muslim. But, since the program is of Minority Front, this yatra of BJP will reach among minorities other than Muslims as well.
The population of Pasmanda Muslims in India is about 80% of the total Muslim population.
Muslim dominated 13-13 seats in UP and West Bengal
According to the figures of BJP Minority Morcha, 7 in Assam, 4 in Bihar, 2 in Delhi, 2 in Haryana, 5 in Jammu and Kashmir, 8 in Kerala, 1 in Ladakh, 2 in Maharashtra, 3 in Madhya Pradesh, 2 in Telangana, In 1 seat of Tamil Nadu, 13 of Uttar Pradesh and 13 of West Bengal, the population of Muslims ranges from 32 to 98 percent. Among these Muslims also, the population of Pasmanda Muslims is about 80 percent.
‘80% Pasmanda remained vote bank of other parties’
BJP leaders say that the population of Pasmanda Muslims is about 80% of the total Muslim population. Other parties have been using Pasmanda as a vote bank. Sometimes their leader is called Digvijay Singh, sometimes Owaisi and sometimes some other leaders. In such a situation, the Minority Front will try to convince the Pasmanda Muslims that their real icon is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
