BJP Legislature Party meeting in Maharashtra today: Cabinet expansion and monsoon session may be discussed

After joining the Ajit Pawar faction of NCP in the Maharashtra government, the political stir is intense. Amidst the changes, a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party has been called in Mumbai on Friday. All MLAs and MLCs have been asked to attend this important meeting. It is believed that soon the Maharashtra cabinet will be expanded. After this, the monsoon session is also to be held. What should be the strategy of the party in this, it will be discussed in the meeting.

Shiv Sena faction meeting has already taken place
A meeting of Shiv Sena MLAs of CM Eknath Shinde faction was also held on Wednesday. After this meeting, Shinde had said that with the arrival of Ajit Pawar, the government has become stronger. Now the number of MLAs in the alliance has crossed 200. That’s why now the government will work with more strength.

During cabinet expansion, those leaders of BJP and Shiv Sena will also have to be considered who were seeing themselves in the race of potentials. His hopes seem to be fading after Ajit Pawar faction’s NCP joins the government. It was reported that some Shiv Sena MLAs are also angry with Pawar’s inclusion in the government. He has also expressed his displeasure to Shinde.

Ministers yet to get portfolio
Ajit Pawar has also met Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis along with his faction leaders regarding cabinet expansion. Along with him, eight more NCP MLAs have taken oath as ministers. Who will be given which ministry, it is yet to be decided. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar can be given some big department. At present, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis is handling the responsibility of important ministries like Finance and Home Department.

After joining NCP of Ajit Pawar faction in Maharashtra, the executive meeting of NCP of Sharad Pawar faction was held in Delhi on Thursday.

Sharad said – I am the president of the party, there is no truth in his claims; Rahul Gandhi meets Pawar in Delhi

After the executive meeting, Sharad Pawar said – I am the president of the party. I don’t know who is saying what. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says. There is no truth in his claims. NCP will approach the Election Commission on the issue of party name and symbol. Today’s meeting has boosted our spirits.

When Pawar was asked a question about retirement, he said that whether it is 82 or 92, age does not matter. I will rebuild the party. We have no problem if someone (Ajit Pawar) wants to become the chief minister. My best wishes are with him.
