He said that the day was not far when TMC leaders involved in corruption cases in the state would be publicly thrashed. He said this while addressing a protest rally in the state. Ghosh said there is public outcry over the TMC leaders being involved in several cases including animal smuggling and SSC scams. The people of the state are fed up with this corrupt TMC rule. Hitting back at Ghosh, TMC leader and MP Saugata Roy said that Ghosh no longer has any importance in his party. He is making such comments to ensure his presence in the political arena of Bengal. But the worst part is that such comments will only worsen the atmosphere in the state.
