BJP demands a CBI probe into the abduction and murder of 2 teenagers in Baguiati

BJP demanded a CBI probe into the abduction and murder of 2 teenagers in Baguati. BJP spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya made this claim in a press conference on Tuesday evening. At the same time, he demanded the arrest of Bidhannagar Police Commissioner and IC of Baguiati police station.

On Tuesday evening, Shamik Babu said, ‘Such a brutal incident. We don’t know that such ugly, demonic incidents have happened in West Bengal in recent times. It does not seem to have happened anywhere in the whole country. Where has the state reached? 2 Madhyamik examinees disappeared. Their family went to the police station. The police say that the boy may have gone for a walk in Digha. Called demanding ransom. The police refused. The family contacted the local councillor. The councilor said there is nothing to do here. However, the police have no role to play. There is no statement from the Chief Minister. This government has no right to remain in power for a moment’.

I went to the Chief Minister’s house 3 times, but I did not see him, claimed Atanur’s grandmother

He said, ‘We are demanding the removal of the police commissioner of Bidhannagar. First let the IC of Baguiati police station be arrested. The police officers who did not take action after receiving information should be arrested. We want an impartial investigation into this incident. I want a CBI investigation into this incident. I want a quick investigation.’

Minister Shashi Panja said, ‘Talked to the Superintendent of Police. He said the investigation is going on. I will demand that the guilty be punished.’
