After Rajasthan, Gujarat, there will be entry of Biparjoy in Haryana today. During this, strong winds will blow at a speed of 40 to 60 km. In view of this, the Chandigarh Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for 15 cities of the state. These include Bahadurgarh, Sampla, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Sonepat, Gannaur, Samalkha, Bapauli, Gharaunda, Karnal, Gohana, Israna, Safidon, Panipat and Assandh.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in these cities. There is a danger of trees and poles falling due to strong storms. Strong winds will start in the state from afternoon onwards.

Yellow alert for these cities
According to the Meteorological Department, the partial effect of Biparjoy will be visible in other cities as well, so a yellow alert has been issued for them. These include Nuh, Tawdu, Sohna, Gurugram, Neingal Chaudhar, Narnaul, Ateli, Mahendragarh, Kanina, Bhadra, Loharu, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Tosham, Bawal, Rewari, Pataudi, Kosli, Matanhel, Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, Ber Khas, Bhaswani, Bawanikheda, Hansi, Hisar are included.

Apart from this, Adampur, Narnaund, Nathusari, Chopta, Ellenabad, Fatehabad, Rania, Faridabad, Kharkhoda, Indri, Radaur, Meham, Julana, Israna, Jind, Kaithal, Nilokhedi, Narwana, Sirsa, Tohana, Kalayat, Ratia, Dabwali, Thanesar, Guhla, Pehova, Shahabad, Ambala, Barada, Jagadhri, Chhachhrauli, Narayangarh, Panchkula have also been alerted.

Meteorological Department gave suggestions
